“Last year I had the opportunity to help plan and perform in two very exciting musical productions that were well attended by the local community. Art and music has always been a central part of my life, especially in high school however for some time since graduation other priorities unfortunately took over. Creating backdrops, playing the flute, piano and singing in front of 400 people was a profoundly enriching experience and one that I look back on with many fond memories. This opportunity has allowed me to reconnect with skills that lay dormant and inspired me to be involved in further initiatives like this. This forum has empowered me to personally develop in many ways and for all that I have gained, I truly hope that it continues to exist so that others can be supported in the same way.” – 2014.
